In July, Kelly Ripa’s family took a refreshing trip to Wyoming’s Brush Creek Ranch, celebrating birthdays and focusing on outdoor fun, while Kelly prepared a new back-to-school lunch guide to ease busy mornings.
July brought a change of pace for Kelly Ripa’s family, swapping the beach for Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, Wyoming, where the all-inclusive property spans 30,000 acres and offers horseback riding, mountain hikes, creek swims and encounters with baby goats, according to Brush Creek Ranch and Just a Taste. The trip served as a reset from the usual churn of camp runs, sports practices and unscheduled summer days, with the children spending time outdoors and the adults leaning into a slower rhythm.
The month also marked a pair of birthdays. Julian turned 10 and Mia turned 4, each with a cake chosen to suit their tastes. Just a Taste said Julian’s celebration featured a Padres baseball theme and a vanilla cake with lemon buttercream, while Mia’s leaned into “Bluey” with a chocolate birthday cake and cream cheese frosting. The family also kept its birthday ritual intact by decorating the kitchen the night before each child’s big day.
Beyond the celebrations, Kelly Ripa used the month to put together a new Back to School Lunch Survival Guide, a free 24-page ebook aimed at making school lunch packing easier for parents. Just a Taste says the guide pulls together lunch ideas, time-saving hacks and kid-approved recipes from years of packing meals for four children. The project is pitched as a practical answer to morning decision fatigue, offering a simple system before the school year begins.
