The UNSTUCK family resource project is hosting two live online episodes of its “Supporting Families” series, addressing mental health and OCD as children return to school, featuring expert discussions and real-time Q&A sessions.
UNSTUCK, the OCD-focused family resource project, is lining up two live instalments of its “Supporting Families” series as the new school year approaches. The programme will be hosted by producer Chris Baier, and the first discussion is set for Thursday, August 20, with therapists Nathan Peterson and Melissa Mose joining the conversation on mental health, obsessive-compulsive disorder and back-to-school pressures.
A second episode is scheduled for September 17 and will centre on OCD and medication. According to the announcement, the guests will be two doctors well known in the OCD community, Stephen Poskar and Jennifer Siegel. Both sessions are being framed as opportunities for families to submit questions and take part in the discussion in real time.
The livestreams will be carried on YouTube, Facebook and the International OCD Foundation’s website, extending the reach of a project that sits alongside UNSTUCK’s wider effort to support children and parents affected by OCD. The film’s website says the broader initiative includes educational material and other resources designed to help families better understand the condition and find practical support.
